On Design Day, May 31, 2011, the Prosper Community Board and Town staff worked with Leathers & Associates to get ideas for a Community Build Playground at Frontier Park, set for a 2012 opening. These design ideas came from meetings this group held with the Pre-K through fourth graders at Baker, Folsom and Rucker elementary schools. That night, Leathers & Associates unveiled the playground design based on feedback it received from the students. The students were asked to draw their dream playground and give it a name. The nearly 2,000 drawings and names proposed by the students were evaluated by the Prosper Community Board.
